Chemical company Scott Bader has acquired a new facility in North Carolina, a move that the company says will help it meet demand for structural adhesives and gelcoats.
According to the UK-based company, the 110,000-square-foot industrial facility will be the company’s second North American manufacturing site. Located on a 15-acre site in Mocksville, N.C., the facility is expected to create 27 new jobs locally, according to the company. Scott Bader says the site was selected to tap into North Carolina’s growing sector of advanced manufacturing.
The company says the facility will be built with modern design principles and operate to GMP conditions, manufacturing a range of Scott Bader products. It is expected to be fully operational by Q1 2023.
