Akzo Nobel N.V. completed the acquisition of Industrias Titan S.A.U. (Titan Paints), a transaction that the company says strengthens its paints business and footprint in Spain and the region.
The deal, which was announced in October 2020, includes three production facilities and seven logistics and service centers for decorative paints, including a manufacturing plant for water-based paints in El Prat de Llobregat, near Barcelona.
Titan Paints, which also has a presence in Portugal, generated revenue of around €80 million and employs 425 people, according to the company.
