Bodo Möller Chemie Expands Sales Operations in Europe

Bodo Möller Chemie is opening a branch in Romania to expand its sales structures in Europe.

“With a new location in the Eastern European market, we are effectively continuing the expansion strategy of recent years,” said Frank Haug, Chairman of the Board of Bodo Möller Chemie Group. “In this way, we can deepen existing trade cooperation and gain new business partners.”

According to the company, the presence of Bodo Möller Chemie in the European market will be further strengthened because of numerous developments in Asia, Africa, and America. In addition to the recent expansion, the company also announced two distribution agreements with BASF in 2021.

Bodo Möller Chemie South Africa announced in January a sales and distribution agreement with BASF South Africa for resins and additives. According to the company, the agreement followed the successful partnership in the field of dispersions for the CASE industry. The agreement includes South Africa and all other countries in southern Africa. In February, the company signed a distribution agreement with BASF SE for resins and additives for the paints and coatings industry in Egypt.

“Close partnerships with a manufacturer like BASF are extremely important because only in this way we can jointly offer the best solution for our customers,” said Florian Krückl, vice president, global business management CASE at textile effects, Bodo Möller Chemie. “BASF also benefits from [our] market proximity and knowledge, as Bodo Möller Chemie has been very close to the customers and application sectors for decades.”
