Evonik has opened the Applied Technology Center (ATC) in Americana, Brazil, a facility the company says was designed to support the development of modern, innovative and essential solutions for a more sustainable future.
Evonik says the building, which combines laboratories, two pilot plants and infrastructure to support industry developments, exemplifies its commitment to its clients and partners across the Central and South America regions.
According to Evonik, the application laboratories are aimed at industries in several strategic markets for Evonik, such as agriculture, construction, crosslinkers, personal care and home care, pharmaceuticals, animal nutrition, polyurethanes, and paints, in addition to two pilot plans catering to the animal nutrition and polyurethanes segments.
In a total area of approximately 2,300 square meters, the new structure has an auditorium, reception, meeting rooms, and co-working spaces that the company says promote the exchange of knowledge and allow for a greater synergy between the areas of operation.
